Self Published Author with a few tips

hello guys I wanted to talk about my book Bloopy. It is so hard to sell books let alone have people come to your site. I have tried many things, most have failed. I decided to tell future authors what I am doing and what I am not. I have no degree in writing, this is just a dream. Can I make this dream come true? I am giving myself one year, I am also a store manager, but writing is my dream. I dream of young children reading my books all around the world.

Let me  say Agents are hard to find. No luck there. I am my own agent. I have learned that when you are self published the big publishing houses want you to sell about 10,000 copies, that is a lot when you are new and your name is just regular.

Some of the first things I learned was to find your target audience, only you know the group you are trying to appeal to. my group happens to be children and mothers.

I also found a lot of reasonable sights that help you promote your book for under 100

the first company is whiz buzz books.

Another problem I am having is librarians calling me back. ummm I have decided to show up in person and see how that go. I went to Camden library no word yet I will keep you guys posted.

You guys will need some kind of marketing.. Facebook, Instagram YouTube and more. I am going to try Instagram and see what exposure I get, I will tell you guys in two weeks

The Urban Hot Pot

My family and I decided to try a new restaurant. We chose a place in Chesapeake, VA, next to Plato's Closet on Volvo Drive. Our server, Li, was exceptional. I must award this establishment five stars as everything, including the service, was outstanding. We indulged in lamb, beef, chicken breast, bok choy, broccoli, rice, and five different types of noodles. We sampled almost everything on the menu, except for cow's throat. Indeed, you read that correctly. On Saturdays, the cost is $31.99, but it's higher during the week. They even have a robot that delivers your drinks. It was my first visit, but definitely not my last. I adore the experience of cooking food right at your table. If you're in search of a family-friendly restaurant, I recommend stopping by and giving it a try.

MY CHILD HATES ME

So your son or daughter will not speak to you.  Let Them Go and let God.  Stop being a prisoner in your own home. You pay for the kids, you love the kids,  and give them what you didn't have. what do you get in return? I hate you, your not my father or you're not my mother. Kids who will not listen to parents need to go, Kids who will live under your roof and not even say good morning. (what in the world)  Parents stop crying move on with your life, sometimes you have to love children at a distance. (This is not for children who are respectful) and if you have a parent who causes you strife, then you need to move on as well. what life can you have if you are always worried or crying? God forbid if you have a child you are afraid of. (some of us do)  Being a parent is no easy task, nope! no book can prepare you for motherhood or fatherhood. some will lie even hold you, hostage, in this day they are killing you.  are you the parent w...

Just Do IT

good morning parents,       This is Nike slogan. I live my life like the slogan. Like many, I have been to  seminars that promised many things. I have read all the self help books, and I do mean all. I want to tell you about a book  called" the lazy man way to riches". I read this book because I was tired of being broke. The title alone caught my eye. The book was the basic get rich but it showed me how. I then read Wallace D. Wattles which lead me to turning my life around.      I would like to say we give up to quick on our dreams. We try things for  a minute or two then its over. Like many I wanted something for nothing. I wanted money because I assumed if I had enough  the bills would  go away. I learned you could never have enough. It seems the more money the more problems. I learned  persistence. On many occasions if I tried something and it didn't work I moved on. I became the jack of everything master of nothing. Fi...
