hello guys I wanted to talk about my book Bloopy. It is so hard to sell books let alone have people come to your site. I have tried many things, most have failed. I decided to tell future authors what I am doing and what I am not. I have no degree in writing, this is just a dream. Can I make this dream come true? I am giving myself one year, I am also a store manager, but writing is my dream. I dream of young children reading my books all around the world.   Let me  say Agents are hard to find. No luck there. I am my own agent. I have learned that when you are self published the big publishing houses want you to sell about 10,000 copies, that is a lot when you are new and your name is just regular.  Some of the first things I learned was to find your target audience, only you know the group you are trying to appeal to. my group happens to be children and mothers. Good morning parents    This is for the ladies. Ok so I had a problem with balding and patches here and there. The first thing I tried was wigs. Let me say wigs took my hair out.  I was using the got to be glue that was stripping my actual color off my forehead.  I then begin using concealer to cover my woes. I was to embarrassed to get braids.  I felt as though people couldn’t grip  scalp.  I was always afraid my wig would blow off. One day while sitting home petting my dog he pulled my wig off.  I knew then I had to do something different. I also hated wearing a wig in the summer, my goodness a hat on my head.  I started searching the internet, some products worked some didn’t.  Well I tried baby don’t be bald along with virgin fertilizer. And I braided my hair in box braids what little I could. The back was completely bald. I spoke to a friend today, she was really upset. The problem  was shocking! her husband had not touched her for months. well like my fellow readers, I feel a particular way about our government. Let me say my heart goes to all the employees who are not working. I apologize on behalf of this government, who seems not to care about people, Our government has forgotten that it was we the people who voted them in. They forgot to honor uphold and protect the people. This is not a race issue but a people issue. I am deeply saddened by both parties. you go home to your warm beds and full bellies and forget about the people. This is outrageous. This is a wake-up to us all, multiple streams of income is what we need This could have happened to any of us. I am for protecting our country, but I am not for hate nor making the American people suffer this shutdown will affect us all. Help if you can pray and try and keep hope alive. nothing is by chance, and what dont kill us will make you stronger
